Bird feathers

Samuel: how do you identify the bird feathers? I found these in my yard today and think these may be from a mocking bird.

    Haha, I often just look at the color of the feathers then look at the color of the birds and make an educated guess. I think those are either Robin feathers or Mockingbird feathers. Thanks!

    They must be mockingbird feathers. I've never seen a robin in our yard! Thanks!
